Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team for a 13-week assignment at a reputable Short Term Acute Care Hospital in Mooresville, NC.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse with experience in post-anesthesia care to provide high-quality patient care in the Operating Room. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic and supportive group of healthcare professionals who share your passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care in the Operating Room, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient operating room workflow.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician, and document patient responses and outcomes.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the physician or other healthcare team members.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in post-anesthesia care.
Requirements:
  • Current RN license in the state of NC
  • 1-3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a post-anesthesia care setting
  • CPAN certification preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
