THE POSITION

We are seeking a dedicated Sports Betting Cashier to join our team. This role involves facilitating efficient cash exchanges and processing winning tickets for our guests while supporting the overall sports betting operations through exceptional customer service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Retrieve a cash bank from the designated vault or cage.
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions and balance the cash bank at the end of each shift.
• Process wagers as requested by guests and verify winning tickets.
• Ensure accurate entry of all information into the system.
• Handle voided wagers appropriately.
• Adhere to the Company’s Standard Operating Procedures.
• Communicate sports betting rules effectively and assist guests with their betting inquiries.
• Monitor for unusual betting patterns and report them to the Supervisor.
• Maintain visibility in guest areas and respond promptly to inquiries.
• Stay informed about popular betting lines and odds.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Protect the confidentiality of Company information obtained during work.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a gaming license.
• Previous experience in retail is advantageous.
• Strong customer service skills are essential.
• Basic math skills are required.
• Experience with cash handling is preferred.
• Ability to manage transactions accurately and responsibly.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in sports or online gaming is highly desirable.
