Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Administrator to join our team at NYC Health Hospitals. As a key member of our Public Health Program, this role will be responsible for coordinating and managing the administration aspects of our Mental Health Continuum program.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the collection, organization, and input of various indicators and data collection for Child and Adolescent Programming.
  • Submit reports to DOHMH and other stakeholders as needed.
  • Attend meetings and transcribe meeting minutes and voice recordings for meetings as needed.
  • Provide administrative support for Associate Director and Assistant Director as needed.
  • Provide support and direction for participating clinics.
  • Maintain office contact lists up to date as well as mailing lists.
  • Carry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning, etc.

Requirements:

  • A Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Public Health, Public Administration, Business Administration, Social Work, Psychology, or Rehabilitation Counseling; and two years of full-time experience in medically-oriented health care and medical support systems environment, one year of which included experience in an administrative or supervisory capacity.
  • Knowledgeable in Behavioral health services and policy, Behavioral health conditions and treatment modalities, and thorough knowledge of city systems and related services for children and families.

The estimated salary range for this position is $65,000-$85,000 annually.
