Job Title: Clinical Instructor Radiology

Job Summary:
The Clinical Instructor (C.I.) will be responsible for providing a meaningful clinical education experience to students in the Diagnostic Imaging program. The C.I. must be a registered radiologic technologist with 4 years of professional experience and demonstrate knowledge of educational methodologies relating to the supervision and evaluation of students in the clinical setting.

Responsibilities:
• Supervise and evaluate students in the clinical setting
• Maintain professional skills at the highest level and exhibit proficiency in aspects of Diagnostic Imaging directly affecting student technologists
• Supervise diagnostic x-ray
• Provide a well-rounded educational experience to students
• Maintain student attendance records, daily work area assignments, and working shifts
• Perform competency evaluations and complete additional evaluation instruments on students
• Communicate with the Director, Lead Technologist, or Program Director regarding student activities and performance

Requirements:
• Associate's degree in Radiology Technology or a graduate of a Radiologic Technology Program recognized by the American College of Radiology
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a staff technologist and a demonstrated knowledge of educational methodologies relating to the supervision and evaluation of students in the clinical setting
• 4 years of experience as a radiologic technologist or 4 years of leadership experience

Work Requirements:
• Day shift
• No on-call requirements
• Rotating weekends
• No travel required
• Location: Johnson City Medical Center
