Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Vidant Health. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing clinical support services, assisting with secretarial/clerical duties, and maintaining patient care documentation in medical records.

Responsibilities
  • Perform clinical support services, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and assisting with procedures.
  • Assist with secretarial/clerical duties, such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and maintaining patient records.
  • Maintain patient care documentation in medical records, including updating charts and filing paperwork.
  • Provide exceptional patient care and communication, ensuring a positive experience for our patients.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent required.
  • One to two years of formal medical assistant or nurse aide training preferred.
  • American Heart Association BLS Certification required.

  • Day shift - 8am-5pm, Monday thru Friday.
