Job Summary

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides high-quality care and support to residents in a long-term care facility. This role involves assisting with daily living activities, providing emotional support, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
  • Assist with mealtime and ensure residents' nutritional needs are met
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment, including resident rooms and common areas
  • Report any changes in resident condition to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse
  • Participate in activities and social programs to promote resident engagement and well-being
Requirements
  • Unencumbered, active CNA certification in the state of employment
  • Possess a sincere desire to work with elders and others with a limited capacity for self-care
  • Mental and physical capacity to perform the essential job functions with or without accommodations
  • Ability to work with and provide care to individuals of a wide range of personality types and maturity levels
  • Consistently maintains courteous, empathetic, and professional attitude
