Job Summary:

The Critical Care Unit Registered Nurse will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. You will also be responsible for administering medications, performing procedures, and providing education to patients and families.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients' physical and emotional needs
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Administer medications and perform procedures as ordered by physicians
  • Provide education to patients and families on disease management and self-care
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care
Requirements:
  • Current State License
  • Minimum of one-year experience in Critical Care in an acute care hospital within the last three years
  • Completion of AHA ACLS Provider Course within 12 months of employment
  • CCRN preferred
