Position Summary

The Lead Terrain Park Crew is responsible for delivering an exceptional Terrain Park experience for both staff and guests. This role involves assisting in the design, construction, shaping, and upkeep of terrain parks.

Position Specifications:

  • Expected Compensation: $23.72 per hour
  • Work Schedule: Full Time
    • Availability includes days, some evenings, weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
  • Experience Level: Advanced

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide Terrain Park Attendants and Groomers through daily operations and nightly design plans.
  • Conduct daily risk assessments, feature inspections, and maintenance checks on all park features.
  • Oversee leads, attendants, and operators to ensure efficient project completion and maintenance tasks.
  • Collaborate with Ski Patrol during incident investigations.
  • Serve as a communication link between attendants and upper management, as well as other departments.
  • Assist in developing nightly grooming strategies for Terrain Parks.
  • Make operational decisions in the absence of management.
  • Act as a role model for employee development and guest service initiatives.
  • Facilitate training for Terrain Park Attendants, including the use of necessary tools and equipment.
  • Continuously enhance standard operating procedures and best practices.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in terrain park operations is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Ability to work outdoors in alpine conditions.
  • Capability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Must possess personal skiing or riding equipment.

The expected pay range is $23.72 per hour. This reflects the compensation we anticipate for this role, with individual salary decisions based on various factors.
