We are seeking an experienced ECMO Registered Nurse to join our team at Baylor Scott & White Health. As a key member of our ECMO ICU team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to our critically ill patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide individualized patient care to ECMO patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor and manage mechanical circulatory devices, including percutaneous and implantable ventricular assist devices, intra-aortic balloon pumps, continuous renal replacement therapy, and ECMO.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Contribute to a culture of safety and excellence in patient care.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Texas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- American Heart Association (ACLS) certification.
- Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification within 6 months of hire.
