Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at Piedmont HealthCare. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to provide physical therapy services to patients of all ages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide physical therapy modalities and treatment procedures as determined by a treatment plan established by the physical therapist.
- Work collaboratively with the physical therapist to develop and implement treatment plans that enable patients to reach their highest level of physical independence.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their physical therapy needs and develop effective treatment plans.
- Administer physical therapy treatments, including exercises, modalities, and other interventions as prescribed by the physical therapist.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records of treatment plans and outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree from an approved Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Current Physical Therapy Assistant license in the State of Georgia.
- BLS certification through AHA.
Working Conditions: This is a full-time position working days. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced clinical setting and maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
