Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide competent care for patients requiring cardioversion, thoracentesis, temporary pacing, and moderate sedation.
  • Manage IV medicated drips requiring minimal titration, including select vasoactive and antiarrhythmic agents.
  • Manage stable DKA patients.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
  • 6 Months- Nursing- Acute Care experience.
  • 2000 hours direct bedside care in a step-down or intermediate care unit as a Registered Nurse in the last 3 years.
  • RN Registered Nursing - California Board of Nursing.
  • BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association.
  • ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support - American Heart Association.
  • Approved Cardiac Rhythm Test.
  • NIHSS National Institute of Health Stroke Scale.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated competency in caring for pre-and post-cardio-thoracic surgery, esophageal surgery, and cardiovascular interventional procedural patients.
Work Environment:

This is a full-time position working 12-hour shifts, with a scheduled weekly hours of 36. The work environment is fast-paced and requires strong communication and teamwork skills.

Compensation and Benefits:

Offer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure. The pay range is $104.97 hourly.
