Job Description

At Walmart, we are seeking a skilled Warehouse Refrigeration HVAC Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our refrigeration and HVAC systems.

About This Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Commercial HVAC and Refrigeration Specialist to work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your technical skills to maintain and repair complex refrigeration and HVAC systems. You will be based at our Glenwood Springs, CO facility, where you will work closely with our facilities management team to ensure that all equipment is functioning correctly and efficiently.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems, including diagnostic testing and troubleshooting.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance tasks to ensure system efficiency and longevity.
  • Respond to emergency calls and resolve issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective maintenance strategies.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 2 years' experience in commercial HVAC and refrigeration maintenance or a related field.
  • Vocational or technical certification in HVAC/R and/or EPA Type I/II Certification for Refrigerant handling.
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving record.
