Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Substation Project Manager to lead our team in the planning, direction, coordination, and budgeting of high voltage substation and transmission line projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, with experience in managing complex projects and teams.
Key Responsibilities- Manage relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Lead a team of Design and Construction Engineers in the execution of Substation projects
- Represent the project in regulatory hearings and review project with management and customers
- Manage Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) project budgets ranging from $250K - $50 Million
- Manage project schedules and deliverables to meet external customer goals
- Interface with all internal and external stakeholders affected by the project
- Report project status weekly and monthly to upper management

Requirements- Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university
- 5+ years of experience in managing projects, delegation of work, directing others, and planning of substation projects
- PMP Certification is highly preferred
- Advanced organizational skills to manage multiple complex transmission line projects
- Superior interpersonal skills to operate within a matrix environment
- Outstanding leadership skills to build and motivate project teams
