Job Summary

The Installation Technician 2 is a critical role within Commercial Case & Panel, responsible for ensuring the successful installation of large walk-in cooler boxes and trim work. This position requires a high level of physical fitness, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and unloading materials with precision and efficiency
  • Hands-on installation of large walk-in cooler boxes and trim work, adhering to specifications and quality standards
  • Utilizing CAD/DWG or similar engineering software to measure and layout cooler boxes with accuracy
  • Ensuring assigned work is thoroughly understood prior to commencement, and completing tasks within given timeframes
  • Reading directions to verify parts required prior to assembly/installation, and communicating effectively with the onsite Lead or PM
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, including material and site cleanup
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of previous experience in construction, carpentry, trim/finish carpentry, or similar industries
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Experience with hand tools and industrial equipment, including tape measures, drills, impacts, fork lifts, lulls, and scissor lifts
  • Ability to walk long distances daily, carry up to 45 pounds, and lift and move parts and tools within safe limits
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual Spanish/English speaking
  • OSHA 10 or greater certification
  • Forklift Certification, OSHA Lull Certification, OSHA Aerial and Scissor Lift Certification
  • Steel erection and working at heights experience
