Job Summary:

Leidos is seeking a highly skilled Network Administrator to provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage IT system infrastructure and related processes.
  • Provide support to IT systems, including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
  • Configure and manage UNIX/Linux and Windows operating systems, install/load operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity, and configure network components, along with implementing operating system enhancements.
  • Manage and maintain a circularized infrastructure of hosts and virtual machines.
  • Build, configure, and maintain storage arrays and system backup and recovery jobs.
  • Administer and secure network switching and routing devices.
  • Manage and maintain network security through the use of access controls and path management.

Requirements:

  • Five (5) years of relevant professional experience providing Network Administration support.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Network Administration or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.

A Master's Degree in Network Administration or related discipline with three (3) years of relevant professional experience providing Network Administration support or nine (9) years of relevant experience providing Network Administration support can be used to substitute for a Bachelor's degree.

Must be VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA), NetApp Certified Storage Associate (NCSA) or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
