Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Technical IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. This role will provide technical support to IT Administrators and users at our sites, focusing on server and client infrastructure, software, security, telecoms, and network expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide in-depth technical knowledge and advice to IT Administrators and contractors on site.
  • Solve complex problems related to PC's, laptops, servers, Microsoft Office, collaboration tools, security, and networks.
  • Offer first and second-line technical expertise to users at the sites, demonstrating a customer-friendly attitude.
  • Maintain good communication skills to interact with peers globally and colleagues across disciplines.
  • Influence users when IT policies are not followed.
Requirements
  • B.S. degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience in technical IT support, including end-points, on-premise & cloud servers, networks.
  • Familiarity with cyber security principles and best practices.
  • Interest in and awareness of latest trends in IT.
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment with IT contacts across the region.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to make decisions on routine technical matters.
  • Capacity to progress multiple projects simultaneously to successful conclusions.
About the Role

This role carries a high level of impact, supporting up to 200 users in the area of operation. The Technical IT Infrastructure Specialist will be responsible for improving IT systems and processes, requiring creativity and innovative input to site management.
