The Senior Financial Analyst - Service Lines and Cost Accounting plays a pivotal role in our organization, with the following key responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitating analytical support for all Clinical Institutes and Service Lines across various business sectors, collaborating with the Service Line leadership team to enable comprehensive data evaluation that enhances patient outcomes and streamlines processes.
  • Overseeing the development, maintenance, and ongoing enhancement of the cost accounting framework, strategy, and data accuracy for all business sectors, aligning with the organization's dedication to precise costing.
  • Ensuring the cost accounting framework consistently produces reliable data for margin analysis and supports service line analytics.
  • Fostering a collaborative relationship with leaders throughout the organization, including clinical operations, information services, financial services, quality and data reporting, and revenue cycle, to establish sustainable data models and ensure data integrity within the Finance and Service Line domains.
  • Guaranteeing the availability of consistent data and reporting, providing analytics as needed, and offering training and support for new services and dashboards, along with other financial and service line support projects as directed by senior leadership.
  • Implementing and standardizing policies and procedures across all system cost accounting users, focusing on team professional development and achieving organizational goals.

Required Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years in Service Line Reporting and Analytics.
  • Experience in the healthcare sector is preferred.

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Data Science, Information Systems, Health Administration, or a related field.
  • Preferred: Master's Degree in a related discipline.

Work Schedule: Full Time, Exempt: Yes

Shift Hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Weekend Work: None

On Call: No

Remote Work: Hybrid
