Senior Radiation Therapy Specialist

Position Overview:
Under the supervision of the Radiation Oncologist and Chief Therapist, the Senior Radiation Therapist adheres to the technical standards of the department and plays a crucial role in patient care.
This role involves the application of ionizing radiation to patients, following the directives and prescriptions provided by the Radiation Oncologist, to facilitate the healing process.
Qualifications:
Minimum Education:
Completion of a 24-month program in Radiological Technology is required, along with registration by the ARRT. Additionally, a 12-month course in Radiation Therapy Technology must be completed, with ARRT registration in Radiation Therapy. A valid Indiana State License as a Radiation Therapist is also mandatory.
Minimum Experience:
Experience obtained through educational coursework is considered adequate.
Certifications Required:
Current Healthcare Provider CPR certification is essential.
