The Rig Floor Technician is responsible for executing all manual labor tasks on the workover rig floor with a focus on safety and efficiency. This role operates under the guidance of the Service Rig Operator and reports directly to the Rig Supervisor. Key responsibilities include:

• Daily management of the workover rig and associated equipment
• Assisting in the mobilization and setup as well as the dismantling of the workover rig
• Operating tongs and slips for connecting and disconnecting drill pipes, tubulars, casings, and tools
• Conducting maintenance on equipment and ensuring cleanliness of the drill floor
• Executing rig up and down procedures, along with the care of the B.O.P. system
• Performing housekeeping tasks on the workover floor, including washing, chipping, and painting
• Participating in Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and tailgate meetings as scheduled
• Preparing necessary tools for operations
• Cleaning trucks and equipment as required
• Assisting with daily lubrication and minor adjustments of equipment
• Supporting daily inspections and maintenance of equipment
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

• Possession of a valid state-issued driver's license, CDL, or the ability to obtain one
• Capability to perform manual labor essential for operating rig equipment
• Compliance with DOT Regulations and Health & Safety standards
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
• Flexibility to work varied schedules
• Legal authorization to work in the United States is required.
