Job Summary:
An Audiology Technician provides administrative support to ENT providers and Audiologists. The role involves performing simple hearing tests, assisting patients with hearing aid fittings, and conducting tests to determine the severity of hearing loss or other hearing issues.
Responsibilities:
- Performing simple hearing tests and assisting patients with hearing aid fittings
- Conducting tests to determine the severity of hearing loss or other hearing issues
- Providing administrative support to ENT providers and Audiologists
- Scheduling appointments and returning patient calls
Qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Certificate Program for Otolaryngology Personnel (CPOP) with American Academy of Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery (AAO-HNSF) required
- One year experience in a healthcare or medical setting office
- Working knowledge of office procedures
