Your Responsibilities as a Logistics Employee:

  • Operate forklifts and manage warehousing tasks.
  • Handle the loading and unloading of freight.
  • Execute tasks safely to prevent cargo damage.
  • Count and inspect all shipments, documenting any discrepancies (overages, shortages, damages).
  • Possess or develop knowledge of procedures essential for safe and efficient freight handling.
  • Transport materials to/from storage areas (including freezers) using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other Powered Industrial Truck equipment.
  • Education requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, with prior experience in food manufacturing preferred.

Physical Demands:

  • Frequent lifting (up to 100lbs), bending, twisting, climbing, grasping, pulling, walking, and standing.

Work Environment:

  • Primarily in a bakery manufacturing setting, including refrigerated or frozen areas.
