Position Overview

Job Summary: The Department of Urban Planning and Public Policy at the University of California, Irvine invites applications for a tenure-track faculty member whose research addresses transportation, housing, or public administration. Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and teach courses in urban planning and public policy, with a focus on transportation, housing, or public administration.
  • Develop and maintain a strong research program, securing extramural funding to support research and graduate students.
  • Contribute to the department's commitment to inclusive excellence, advancing UCI's mission for equity and inclusiveness.

Requirements:

Basic Qualifications: Ph.D. in public affairs, public policy, urban planning, economics, geography, sociology, political science, or a related field.
