Emergency Department Nurse

Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Department. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Provide prescribed medical treatment and personal care services to patients in the Emergency Department
- Document observations, assessments, and changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with health team members to facilitate positive patient care outcomes
- Provide a full range of nursing care to patients with various physical and behavioral problems
- Assess and care for patients with a wide range of physical and psychological diagnoses and treatment modalities
- Care for patients undergoing operative/invasive procedures
- Care for patients requiring special precautions such as isolation
- Complete and accurate documentation of care, on time, according to facility/unit policies
- Phlebotomy and bedside testing
- May be required to work with COVID-19-positive patients and Patients Under Investigation (PUI) for COVID-19
- Minimum of 3 years current experience in an emergency department or major trauma center emergency room
- Must have worked within the last six months in an emergency department or major trauma center emergency room with no more than a six-month gap
- Must be a graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate State-accrediting agency
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or in a related field or a master's degree in Nursing or in a related field is highly preferred
- Preferred to have the Certification of Emergency Nursing (CEN) through the Board of Certifications for Emergency Nurses (BCEN)
