Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Class A CDL driver to operate a solo tractor-trailer within Texas. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a solo tractor-trailer within Texas, delivering freight to various locations
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules
  • Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards
  • Load and unload freight, or assist in the loading/unloading process as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Pass a Ryder drug test
  • Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
  • Pass a DOT physical
  • Pass a Ryder road test
  • Provide a valid Class A CDL and endorsements for the position
  • Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor-trailer or comparable vehicle
Benefits
  • Hourly pay: $23.69
  • Per diem: $26.52 per night plus paid hotel
  • Travel pay: $100 per week
  • Up to $2200 in annual bonuses and more at 2 years

  • Paid personal time off starts at day hours accrued in the first year
  • Medical, dental, vision start at 30 days
