We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Abrazo West Campus. As a Med-Surg Ortho Trauma RN, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized, age-specific, and direct bedside nursing care based on the nursing process and patient needs.
- Coordinate care planning with other disciplines and act as a supervisor, assessing, planning, delegating, and utilizing independent judgment in directing other healthcare employees for the provision of patient care.
- Systematically evaluate the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice to identify patient goals and participate in hourly rounding.
- Observe safety guidelines and safe work practices, and may be asked to be in charge for a shift(s).
- License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona.
- CPR and ACLS certifications as applicable by Facility/by Department.
- Minimum of two years of current Level III NICU experience including neonatal ventilator, or one year of acute care experience with a preference for BSN.
- BSN degree from an accredited nursing school.
- Experience in CVICU or ICU or Min 2 years in Cardiac Stepdown.
- Certification in specialty area of practice preferred.
