Caring Transitions seeks a detail-oriented and compassionate Senior Relocation Assistant to join our team. This part-time opportunity offers the chance to work with seniors and families in Washington, DC, providing professional relocation services.

Job Overview

We are dedicated to delivering courteous services to help seniors and families with relocation, downsizing, house cleanouts, online auctions, estate sales, and more. As a Senior Relocation Assistant, you will be responsible for sorting, organizing, taking photos for online auctions, boxing items for pick up and shipping, and other similar activities.

Estimated Salary: $25-30 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Sort and organize household goods for moving or sale
  • Pack and unpack goods safely
  • Dispose of unwanted items for donation or removal
  • Deliver and ship items purchased through online auctions
  • Interact with clients, their families, and other coworkers
Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Access to a smartphone for scheduling, time-keeping, and project management apps
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Pass a background and drug test
