Position Overview:
The Building Assembler 1 plays a crucial role in the assembly of fabricated metal components for enclosure structures, adhering to detailed specifications.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
None

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Analyze and interpret various blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions to successfully complete assemblies for enclosure structures.
2. Assemble and install electrical components, including panel boards, HVAC units, battery systems, and other electrical devices, while bending conduit as required.
3. Utilize a range of power tools and hand tools (e.g., drills, impacts, screwdrivers, grinders) to perform assigned tasks effectively.
4. Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure that assembled products meet established specifications and quality standards.
5. Identify and document any product defects, reporting them as necessary.
6. Monitor and maintain an inventory of essential supplies, tools, and parts at the workstation.
7. Uphold a clean and safe working environment.
8. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to execute tasks accurately.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes, equipment maintenance, and safety protocols.
- Proficient reading comprehension skills to interpret written directions, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and engineering schematics.
- Basic mathematical skills to fulfill technical specifications and measurements.
- Fundamental understanding of tools (e.g., tape measure, impact drill).

Experience and Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience in an assembly or manufacturing environment.
- Prior experience operating powered equipment (e.g., forklift, reach truck, scissors lift, overhead crane).

Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing, bending, kneeling, and performing repetitive tasks.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 35 pounds at a time.
- Manual dexterity to assemble products or machinery as directed.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to distinguish between colored wires, tabs, and electronic components.

Must wear personal protective equipment (PPE), such as gloves, safety glasses, hard hats, and ear protection, while working on the production floor.

Salary: $16.00-$18.50/Hourly
