Trailer Technician

Dayton Freight Lines is seeking a skilled Trailer Technician to join our team. As a Trailer Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance services to meet the company's standards, repairing and rebuilding trailer components, and conducting preventative maintenance inspections.

• Perform routine maintenance on 48ft. and 53ft. dry van trailers, including suspension and running gear, landing gear, wheel components, brakes, and electrical systems.
• Repair and rebuild trailer components, including suspension and running gear, landing gear, wheel components, brakes, and electrical systems.
• Conduct thorough preventative maintenance inspections to ensure trailers are in good working condition.
• Perform service calls, wash and fuel equipment as needed, and road test vehicles to ensure quality repair services.
• Assist and guide junior technicians, and maintain a clean and safe work environment that complies with OSHA and company standards.

• Possess a valid Driver's License.
• Basic math skills.
