Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work safely and report safety hazards immediately
  • Follow work rules, policies, and procedures
  • Uphold food safety requirements
  • Perform tasks with attention to detail and quality
  • Work well with other employees to meet required line speed requirements
  • Report line breakdowns or quality problems immediately to the line operator, line lead, or supervisor

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Reasonable accommodations will be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job
  • Ability to maintain balance while walking, stepping, and standing on slippery wet surfaces
  • Ability to stand in one place and maintain balance on a hard surface for up to 3 1/2 hours at one time
  • Ability to observe products moving quickly on a conveyor system for up to 3 1/2 hours at one time
  • Ability to work with coordination dexterity and speed
  • Ability to tolerate moving mechanical parts, vibration, and high volumes of noise from machinery and moving equipment
  • Ability to tolerate cold and wet environment in temperatures as low as 43 degrees

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to read a limited number of two-and three-syllable words and recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers
