Job Summary

This role provides direct clinical patient care in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit at Brookwood Baptist Medical Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis. The role will also supervise staff to ensure appropriate care is delegated and support the Chief Nursing Officer in ensuring high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care.

Responsibilities
  • Active and current registered nurse license in the state of residence/practice
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to serve as a role model and advocate for the professional discipline of nursing
Education and Certification

Required:

  • Graduated from a state-approved school of nursing or an accredited school
  • Must be currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice the profession as required by law, regulation, or policy
