About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Healthcare Specialist to join our team at Birch Family Services Inc. This role is a unique opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide medical services and promote health and safety for individuals supported by our organization.
  • Collaborate with clinical and ancillary staff to ensure comprehensive nursing services and interventions.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring continuity of medical care and services.
  • Work closely with physicians to address medical needs and follow through on nursing care.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse in New York State.
  • 1-2 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, preferably in a residential or healthcare setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $82,000 - $87,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
