Job Title: Senior Paralegal - Family and Criminal Law Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in family and criminal law, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and meetings, conducting thorough legal research, drafting legal documents, and managing client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and meetings
  • Conduct thorough legal research and fact-checking
  • Draft legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and subpoenas
  • Manage client relationships and handle initial client interviews
  • Coordinate law office activities, such as subpoena delivery
  • Liaise between attorneys, clients, and court personnel

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a paralegal in family and criminal law
  • Extensive knowledge of domestic relations and divorce law
  • Proven experience as a criminal paralegal
  • Paralegal certificate or degree from an accredited institution
  • Exceptional research skills and proficiency in legal research tools
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large volumes of documents and prioritize work
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team
  • Proficiency in using legal software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion
