The Ultrasound Technologist is a key member of our diagnostic team at Parkridge West Hospital, responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures ordered by physicians. This role requires a high level of technical skill and attention to detail, as well as excellent communication and patient care skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform imaging procedures using ultrasound equipment, ensuring high-quality images and accurate results.
- Accurately follow physician orders and document exam completion in Meditech.
- Verify images in PACS and maintain quality control procedures for equipment and accessories.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
Requirements:
- Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
