Laboratory Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Coordinator to join our team at Terracon. As a Laboratory Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the activities of our Construction and Geotechnical materials laboratory. This includes ensuring that laboratory testing services are conducted in a safe and timely manner, consistent with company quality protocols and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate laboratory activities to ensure timely completion of projects
- Ensure laboratory personnel are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties
- Oversee calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment
- Ensure laboratory processes and personnel adhere to company Quality program and Construction Materials Quality Management System (QMS)
- Perform construction and geotechnical related laboratory testing
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year experience performing laboratory tests on construction and geotechnical materials
- Certification by qualified national, regional or state authorities (ACI, NICET, DOT) or in-house certification in areas such as concrete, aggregates, soil and rock, or road and paving materials
