Advanced Patient Care Specialist

You are a skilled Advanced Patient Care Specialist who plays a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care in various healthcare settings. Your primary responsibilities include administering medications, wound care, and vital sign measurements under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician.
This position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
The estimated salary for this position is $62,500 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and location within the Karuk Tribe's healthcare network.
Job Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Provide basic nursing care to patients, including vital sign measurements and wound care.
- Assist with procedures and surgeries under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure quality care.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as documenting patient information and maintaining accurate records.
Requirements:
- Degree: Diploma or Associate's degree in nursing from an accredited institution.
- Certification/License: Current LVN license in good standing, issued by the state licensing authority.
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience as an LVN in a hospital or healthcare setting, preferably within the Karuk Tribe's network.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to multitask, attention to detail, and knowledge of medical terminology.
Work Environment:
This role is based in various healthcare settings within the Karuk Tribe's network, including hospitals and clinics. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be willing to adapt to changing situations.
