Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Home Health Aide to provide essential support to our clients. In this role, you will engage directly with individuals, adhering to personalized care plans within their residences. Your compassionate approach will not only ensure quality care but also foster meaningful connections with those you assist.

As a detail-oriented and organized professional, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and healthy living environment tailored to each patient's needs. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are vital for success in this position. Previous experience in home health or caregiving is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support clients with daily tasks, including meal preparation, engaging in activities like puzzles, and providing companionship.
  • Assist with household duties such as changing bed linens, laundry, cleaning, and personal care tasks.
  • Document patient care, conditions, progress, and any concerns, sharing observations with the supervising staff.
  • Establish rapport with patients through conversation and reading, promoting mental well-being and alertness.
  • Encourage participation in physical exercises or other beneficial activities.
Required Qualifications
  • Completion of an accredited Home Health Aide training program.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of one year of relevant professional experience.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
