Respiratory Therapist

Hart Medical Equipment is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality patient care and support services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering preventative, diagnostic, therapeutic, and rehabilitative services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and perform clinical respiratory services, including deliveries, set-ups, and instructions to customers.
• Provide plan of service / plan of treatment services to evaluate, assess, and meet customer needs, goals, and requirements.
• Market and promote clinical respiratory services to referral sources and the healthcare community.
• Coordinate and perform quality assurance and maintenance services on respiratory therapy items.
• Deliver and instruct customers on the proper and safe use of oxygen concentrators, liquid oxygen systems, cylinder oxygen systems, and respiratory items.
• Instruct customers on infection control procedures and ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
• Coordinate and complete equipment maintenance management records as required.
• Assist with obtaining prescriptions and Certificate of Medical Necessity forms required for billing to insurance companies.
• Provide on-call services as required.

Requirements:

• Current license in the State of Ohio.
• Graduates of accredited programs and/or one year of experience or a combination of both education and experience.
• Reliable transportation, a good driving record, and ability to drive in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
