Under minimal supervision, you will deliver professional nursing care to our radiology patients in accordance with established standards and practices. You will be accountable for making informed decisions based on your clinical expertise and experience, while adhering to the Standards for Nursing Practice and the policies and procedures of our radiology department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate full competency in the nursing aspects of all Radiology procedures.
- Support and comply with the Oklahoma Cancer Specialists and Research Institute Compliance Program, including the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited professional nursing education program.
- Radiology experience is highly desirable, and we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Opportunities for growth are available upon obtaining oncology certification.
- Experience and knowledge regarding the purpose and use of medications in cancer treatment is advantageous.
- Possession of an RN state license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in the practicing state.
- Current CPR certification is required.
- ONS certification is necessary.
- Must maintain continuing education requirements.
