We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Power Delivery Projects & Engineering Department in Jupiter, FL.

Job Summary:

The selected candidate will provide support for the Power Delivery equipment at NextEra Energy Resources (NEER) Generation facilities across the US and Canada. This will include design review of new proposed substation and relay protection equipment for new sites, as well as troubleshooting support to field personnel as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide engineering, design, and environmental support
  • Track and report on project negotiations and performance
  • Deliver company standards, policies, training, and support of organization
  • Prepare communications, presentations, and provide support at meetings
  • Formulate researches, and develop improvement measures
  • Work with other departments within the organization to establish customer requirements and project costs
Requirements:
  • Valid Driver's License (NON CDL)
  • Bachelor's - Engineering
  • Experience: 5+ years
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certified Professional Engineer (PE)
  • Six Sigma Black Belt Certified
  • Six Sigma Green Belt Certified
  • Master's Degree
  • Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certified
  • Six Sigma Master Black Belt
