About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Heavy Duty Diesel Vehicle Technician to join our team at Remote Mechanic Jobs. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert technical services on heavy-duty diesel vehicles, including trucks, buses, and industrial equipment. With a strong background in diesel mechanics, you will have a proven track record of diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical issues efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in heavy-duty diesel vehicles, utilizing your expertise in diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems.
  • Perform engine rebuilding, maintenance, and inspections to ensure optimal vehicle performance, meeting or exceeding industry standards.
  • Work independently and collaboratively with colleagues to complete tasks, ensuring seamless communication and timely completion of projects.
  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation, adhering to company policies and regulatory guidelines.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in heavy-duty diesel repair, with advanced knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems.
  • ASE certification in Diesel Mechanics or related field, and a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
  • Strong diagnostic skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as needed.
