About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Engineering and Machine Learning Operations Manager to join our team at Konica Minolta Business Solutions, U.S.A., Inc. This is a unique opportunity to lead the development and implementation of our data platform, leveraging cutting-edge technologies and innovative approaches to drive business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Build a Scalable Data Platform: Develop and maintain a robust and scalable data platform that supports our business needs, ensuring timely and consistent data availability.
  • Lead a Team of Data Engineers and Scientists: Lead, train, and guide a team of data engineers and scientists, driving collaboration and an innovative mindset to achieve business objectives.
  • Ensure Data Quality and Integrity: Resolve architectural challenges and ensure data quality and integrity, guaranteeing that the data is trustworthy and reliable.
  • Partner with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Information Security, to ensure proper handling of different types of data and drive business results.
  • Develop and Implement MLOps Strategies: Develop and implement MLOps strategies, best practices, and standards to enhance AI/ML model deployment and monitoring efficiency.
  • Drive Business Growth and Success: Analyze and recommend solutions for building and operationalizing AI/ML models, and define and develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.
Requirements
  • 8+ Years of Professional Experience: Proven experience as an architect, engineer, data scientist, or similar role, with a strong background in data engineering and machine learning.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in BigQuery, dbt Cloud, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and other relevant technologies.
  • Leadership and Collaboration Skills: Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with experience in managing and guiding teams, and driving business results.
  • Communication and Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and facilitate cross-team collaboration.
