Job Title: Travel Radiology Technologist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Travel Radiology Technologist to join our team at Canton-Potsdam Hospital. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality imaging services to patients of all ages.

Job Summary:

The Travel Radiology Technologist will work in a fast-paced environment, covering inpatient exams, emergency department, and outpatient scheduled/walk-in x-rays. You will also provide OR coverage for C-arm cases and scheduled fluoroscopy exams. Our team serves patients from newborn to geriatric, and our ED is a level III Trauma center serving all of St. Lawrence county.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform high-quality imaging procedures, including x-rays, fluoroscopy, and CT scans
  • Prepare patients for exams, ensuring their comfort and safety
  • Operate imaging equipment, maintaining accurate records and reports
  • Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and department efficiency
Requirements:
  • ARRT certification, BLS, and NYS License
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in radiology
  • Ability to work variable shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
