About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Heartland Dermatology and Skin Cancer Center PA. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and supporting our providers in delivering high-quality medical services.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for examination and record their health history
  • Set up for procedures, prepare medications for the provider, and perform routine specimen collection and tests
  • Assist the provider as a scribe to complete patient notes, chief complaints, and reviews of systems, exams, assessments, and treatments
  • Prepare equipment and examination rooms, and clean instruments
  • Assist the provider with medical treatments, procedures, and exams
  • Obtain and record pathology results from labs and distribute reports to providers
  • Enter path results and prepare specimens as necessary
  • Perform suture removals and provide instructions on post-op wound care
  • Give injections as directed
  • Complete refill requests and patient phone calls
  • Other nursing duties as assigned by the manager and/or provider
  • Manage inventory of medical supplies and equip exam rooms with appropriate supplies

Qualifications:

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Registered Nurse with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with patients and other external parties. A firm grasp of medical practices, administrative processes, and organizational policies is essential. Knowledge of patient care and examination procedures is also required.
