Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Specialist to join our team at International Leadership of Texas. As an Accounting Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, processing accounts payable, and performing various accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process accounts payable invoices and requisitions in a timely manner.
  • Verify invoices and purchase orders for completeness and accuracy.
  • Detect and resolve problems with incorrect orders, invoices, and shipments.
  • Input data into the accounting system.
  • Prepare correspondence, forms, manuals, reports, and payment authorizations following district standards and requirements.
  • Maintain vendor files and set up new accounts as needed.
  • Receive incoming calls and direct them to the proper party.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred.
  • Two years of accounting-related experience at a clerical level.
  • Skyward experience is a plus.

Compensation: The estimated annual salary for this position is $45,000-$55,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
