USPI Colorado Urologic Surgery Center is on the lookout for a dedicated Perioperative Services Registered Nurse to enhance our healthcare team. Our center operates in a dynamic Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC) setting, focused on delivering exceptional quality care and experiences for our patients and their families.

Position Overview

$10,000 Sign-On Bonus

The RN in Preoperative and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care through the application of the nursing process, adherence to medical protocols, and compliance with organizational standards. This role ensures safe, effective, and patient-centered care throughout the perioperative continuum for diverse patient demographics. The RN reports directly to the Manager of Perioperative Services, aligning with the organization's mission, vision, and values.

Candidates should have experience in the following specialty: Urology.

Essential Qualifications:

Requirements:

Must hold an unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the state. Must be a graduate from an accredited nursing program. Must possess a minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience in Preoperative and PACU settings. Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center is highly preferred. Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required. Strong understanding of surgical procedures and management of surgical patients is essential. Knowledge of aseptic techniques and their practical application is necessary. Ability to swiftly adapt to changing patient conditions is critical. Excellent teamwork and communication skills with staff, patients, and physicians are essential.
