Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Banquet Porter to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. As a Banquet Porter, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of banquets and events, providing exceptional service to our guests, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete final breakdown of function, by cleaning the room, and cleaning and returning equipment to its proper location.
  • Complete closing duties, including storing all reusable goods, locking doors, breaking down goods, etc.
  • Set up, stock, and maintain work areas.
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned station and service areas.
  • Transport dirty linen to correct area to be cleaned, separate napkins from tablecloths, and restock linen shelves with clean linens.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures.
  • Assist other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • No related work experience.
  • No supervisory experience.
  • None
Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.03 to $27.54 per hour and offers health care benefits, retirement benefits, earned paid time off and/or sick leave, life insurance, disability coverage, and other life and work wellness benefits.
