Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Mullinax Ford. As a General Line Tech, you will perform light maintenance and repairs on our state-of-the-art Mobile Van.

Responsibilities include:

  • Performing work specified on repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policy
  • Conducting thorough and accurate multi-point inspections
  • Completing test drives of vehicles as necessary
  • Providing superior customer satisfaction
  • Maintaining legible and accurate paperwork for both the customer and our records
  • Cleaning and maintaining the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety
  • Computerized transactions/record keeping
  • Following all Company procedures and standards
  • Performing all duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must provide own tools
  • Basic computer, email, and internet proficiency
  • Strong time management skills
  • Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed
  • Lifting of heavy items up to 75 pounds
  • Able to withstand exposure to adverse weather conditions, chemicals, odors, dirt, and dust
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle driving record according to dealership guidelines
  • Must be able to pass background screening and drug test
