Job Title: Registered Nurse - PACU

Community Medical Centers is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). As a critical care nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our patients.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the PACU. In this role, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, assessing patient needs, and developing and implementing individualized care plans. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and provide education to patients and families.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs, preferences, and goals.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and provide education to patients and families.
  • Monitor patients for changes in status and take appropriate interventions to ensure patient safety and well-being.
  • Document patient information, including medical history, medications, and treatment plans.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited registered nursing program.
  • Minimum 2 years recent ICU, Critical Care, or PACU experience.
  • California RN state license.
  • BLS Certification.
  • ACLS certification within 6 months of hire or transfer into job.
  • PALS certification within 6 months of hire or transfer into job.
  • Ability to take On-Call during the week and work some weekends and holidays.
