Precision Tool and Die Maker

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tool and Die Maker to craft precision tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and gages used in the manufacturing process. Your expertise will contribute to the production of high-quality components, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in our manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret engineering drawings/blueprints and specifications to create precision tools and dies.
- Set up and operate a variety of machine tools, including lathes, milling machines, and grinders, to fabricate components.
- Diagnose, correct, inspect, and test completed tools, dies, or fixtures for conformance to specifications.
- Troubleshoot and repair tools and dies to maintain optimal functionality.
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to provide input on design improvements and modifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
- Stay updated on industry Trends, Materials, and technologies to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Other jobs as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
- Completion of a 2-year machine trade school in Tool and Die or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Tool and Die Maker or in a similar role.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Skilled in operating various machine tools and precision measuring instruments.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in craftsmanship.
- Problem-solving ability to troubleshoot and repair tools and dies.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- This job may require lifting various weights, standing for various lengths of time, and stooping and bending occasionally.
