Electrical Instructor

Pensacola State College is seeking a dedicated and passionate instructor to join our team and teach occupational skills and knowledge to students in the Electricity field. As an adjunct faculty member, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our students and help them achieve their career goals.

• Teach occupational skills and knowledge to students in the Electricity field
• Develop and implement curriculum updates to ensure students receive the most up-to-date training
• Assist students in achieving their career goals and provide guidance and support as needed
• Demonstrate occupational materials, tools, equipment, and processes to students
• Establish and maintain standards of student conduct to provide a safe and productive learning environment

• Graduation from a regionally accredited institution with an Electricity Certification or License
• 3 years of experience in the Electricity field
• Proficiency with installation and repair of various types of commercial and residential wiring systems
• Working knowledge of residential and commercial Electricity, local building code requirements, OSHA and EPA regulations, and job site safety
• Reliable transportation

• NCCER Craft Instructor Certification
• Prior teaching experience
